2017 Environmental Partnership Dinner
June 14, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Join us on June 14 for PEC’s Philadelphia Environmental Partnership Dinner. Regarded as the premier environmental event in Philadelphia, dozens of the region’s leading companies are sponsors and the dinner draws a large and diverse audience comprised of business leaders, lawyers, consultants, environmentalists, academics, and government officials.
The event will commence with a welcome reception and silent auction, followed by the program, and conclude with a “movable feast” of stationed food, open bar, and plenty of networking opportunities.

2017 Winsor Award
PEC will honor Carol Collier with the Winsor Award, in recognition of vision, commitment, and lifelong achievement. Ms. Collier served for more than 15 years as Executive Director of the Delaware River Basin Commission before joining the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University as Senior Advisor, Watershed Management & Policy.
This award was created in honor of Curtin Winsor, one of PEC’s founders, and for 20 years the primary leader of our organization. The program will also feature keynote remarks on environmental and conservation issues.

Keynote Speaker
Steve Santarsiero was appointed May 4, 2017 as the Chief Deputy Attorney General of the Environmental Protection Section. As the office’s top environmental prosecutor, Santarsiero is in charge of prosecuting polluters across three divisions of the Office of Attorney General: Criminal, Civil, and Public Protection.
Mr. Santarsiero brings strong experience supporting Pennsylvania’s environment and natural resources, including over 10 years of experience litigating environmental claims including on behalf of citizens groups seeking relief under the federal Clean Water Act.
In addition to his career as an environmental attorney, Santarsiero developed a record on environmental issues over four terms as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing the 31st District in Bucks County. He was instrumental in convincing then Governor Rendell to issue an executive order halting the further leasing of state forest land for natural gas drilling. Santarsiero regularly fought for tighter regulation of the natural gas industry and was a strong advocate for increasing renewable energy standards as well as providing incentives for the expansion of renewable energy sources.
