UPDATE 3/12/20: We have been closely monitoring the developments regarding the coronavirus and the recommendations prescribed by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) as well as state and local officials. Out of an abundance of caution and with the health and safety of all attendees in mind, we are postponing the Speaker Series that was to be held on March 18, 2020. We urge everyone to familiarize themselves with the guidance issued by the CDC for preventing the spread of the virus (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/index.html). We will keep you informed of any decisions regarding rescheduling. Thank you for your understanding.
This Speaker Series will explore climate impacts and the Laurel Highlands and will include presentations covering mitigation and adaption strategies of state agencies including an overview of the DCNR Climate Change Action Plan; state energy policy efforts; and work that is underway and planned to adapt to a changing climate.
