Angela Vitkoski is a Program Manager in the Northeast Office of the Pennsylvania Environmental Council (PEC), where she has worked for nearly 27 years. While at PEC she has been responsible for the overall management of the Northeastern Pennsylvania office and has assisted in the preparation and project coordination of several trail feasibility studies, including the Greater Kingston Area Trail/Greenway Feasibility Study, the City of Wilkes-Barre Trail/Greenway Master Plan, and the Harvey’s Creek Trail Connector Feasibility Plan Project. She has also aided in the preparation of numerous river conservation plans, including the Catawissa, Mehoopany, and the Greater Wyoming Valley Rivers Conservation Plans.
She currently assists in managing several programs; administrative duties related to all the mini grant programs; and assists in coordinating annual environmental awards dinners in the Northeast and Harrisburg. She is also a program manager for the Pennsylvania Organization for Watersheds and Rivers (POWR).
Angela grew up in Northeast PA and currently lives in Lehman Township with her husband, children and granddaughter. She enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors, hiking or kayaking with family and friends.
