Trail Implementation Manager Tool
The Trail Implementation Manager Tool (TIM Tool) is a crowdsourced platform for collaborative trail data management, intended to collect trail gap data from trail groups and managing agencies to create and maintain a complete dataset of trail gaps across the state. The TIM Tool is a collaborative effort between the Pennsylvania Environmental Council (PEC), the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), and Environmental Planning and Design (EPD).
The TIM Tool helps DCNR better understand the challenges facing trail groups and managing agencies, while streamlining the process of logging and tracking trail gaps.
Trail groups and managing agencies are encouraged to complete the TIM Tool Intake Form, and once prompted, create an account in the TIM Tool to view, manage, and update their gaps. Keeping your Gap Profile up to date is a great help for DCNR to better understand your specific trail gap project.
The TIM Tool is also intended to serve as a management tool for trail groups and trail managing agencies by providing a list of your trail gaps, a way to view them, and places to keep track of project status and changes for each gap.
