Rhonda recently joined PEC in the newly created role of Vice President of Advancement to lead fundraising and donor engagement efforts. Having grown up in northwestern PA and worked in both Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, she has a broad-based knowledge of Pennsylvania funders and partners. Prior to accepting the position, she held leadership positions at The Westmoreland Museum of American Art, Riverlife, The Trust for Public Land, and The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University. Rhonda holds a B.A. of English Literature from Richard Stockton College, pursued graduate work in Environmental Studies at the University of Pennsylvania and completed the Emerging Women’s Leadership Program at Duquesne University’s Palumbo Donahue School of Business.
Rhonda is an avid gardener and advocate for native plants and sustainable landscape practices. She is a member of the Garden Club of Allegheny County and Chair of the Club’s Conservation Committee and delegate to the Garden Club of America’s National Affairs and Legislative Conference. She is also a former Board member and current volunteer for Landforce. When not in her garden, she enjoys relaxing at her family’s cabin near the Allegheny National Forest.
