Hannah Clemenson, a native of Johnstown, graduated from American University in Washington, DC with a BA in Political Science and Communications, Law, Economics, and Government (CLEG). She began her diverse career in the nonprofit and government sectors during college when she was a policy intern for two Congressmen and did communications and outreach for Natural Biodiversity, a Pennsylvania-based nonprofit focused on native habitat restoration. After graduation, Hannah worked as a Field Organizer on a congressional campaign in Western Pennsylvania.
She then moved to Denver, CO where she worked for Project New America doing administration and political research. In 2017, she joined Community Resource Center, a capacity building nonprofit, where she focused on organizational operations and finance and coordinated an AmeriCorps VISTA program that placed members with rural nonprofit organizations. In 2020, she traded the Rockies for the Appalachians and returned to Pennsylvania, when she joined the PEC team as a Program Coordinator.
In her free time, Hannah enjoys baking, traveling, and hiking.
