Chris joined the PEC team in December 2017 after more than ten years living in the Pittsburgh region and working in the outdoor recreation and renewable energy fields. As Program Coordinator, he provides support for the Industrial Heartlands Trail Coalition, assists with meeting facilitation, and maintains the IHTC website.
Chris has spent much of his career helping others access opportunities for outdoor recreation through his work with Venture Outdoors, Golden Triangle Bike, and Bike Pittsburgh. He also has hands-on experience in the energy sector, performing solar installations and developing off-grid energy storage systems for Zero Fossil Energy Outfitter, and working with Pittsburgh-based deep-cycle battery manufacturer Aquion Energy.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban Studies and Community Planning degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
