Ashley Walker, a Philadelphia native, came to PEC in 2021 with a diverse background in tourism and hospitality as well as environmental stewardship.
A 2021 graduate of Temple University, she holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies, a minor in Geography and Urban Studies, and a certificate in GIS. During her time at Temple, Ashley worked with several of Philadelphia’s most notable organizations including the Philadelphia Zoo, Visit Philadelphia, and the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission. On a national scale, she’s completed internships with the Department of the Interior, National Science Foundation, and American Conservation Experience. As a Program Coordinator at PEC, Ashley coordinate’s PEC’s Legacy Mine Land Reforestation Program, national greenway initiative, and the PA Stream Access project.
In her free time, Ashley enjoys traveling, visiting new restaurants, and discovering new music.
