The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection is now accepting nominations for the 2017 Governor’s Awards for Environmental Excellence.
The awards, presented each year to highlight the best in environmental innovation and expertise throughout the Commonwealth, are the highest statewide honor bestowed upon businesses, individuals, and organizations for environmental work. Honorees will be recognized on April 25th, 2017 in a ceremony hosted by PEC at the Hilton Harrisburg.
Eligible businesses, organizations, and individuals can be nominated by email through January 3, 2017 for projects completed between August 1, 2015 and July 31, 2016. More information and applications can be found at the DEP website.
