Rachael Stark, Northeastern Pennsylvania Program Coordinator

Rachael Stark joined PEC in September 2021 as the Northeastern Pennsylvania Program Coordinator. In her role she is responsible for programs including NEPA Tail on the Trail and Keep NEPA Beautiful – an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful. Prior to PEC, she worked as a Senior District Executive with the NEPA Council Boy Scouts of America where she was responsible for membership growth, grant programs, and community outreach, in addition to her role as Program Director at their Cub Scout Summer Camp.

Rachael was born and raised in NEPA and has always been heavily involved in community organizations including Scouting, Rotary, Leadership Wilkes-Barre, and the Young Professionals Network. Her deep passion for environmental action and outreach led her to complete a Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies in 2017 from King’s College, Wilkes-Barre. Rachael is currently enrolled in the Forest Resources and Conservation Graduate program at the University of Florida and plans to earn her Masters Degree in Spring 2024. In her free time, Rachael takes Jiu Jitsu self defense courses, volunteers, and hikes with her pup, Carter. She also has a goal of visiting every U.S. National Park before she is 30, a goal which she is well on her way to.
