Panel Urges Stronger Oversight on State-Controlled Gas Pipelines

WILKES-BARRE — With hundreds of miles of new natural gas pipelines planned for Northeastern Pennsylvania, stronger oversight is needed for types of lines that fall under state control.

That statement was echoed several times by a diverse set of panelists representing industry, lawmakers, regulators and environmental interests who met at Wilkes University Thursday.
