PEC Rides Return this Fall – Register Now!

Registration is now open for two PEC rides happening this September. The Environment Ride and the Public Lands Ride present very different riding experiences, but both are sure to be fun — and a little challenging!

Environment Ride

The Environment Ride is a three-day ride in Southeastern Pennsylvania. The ride will take place from Friday, September 9 to Sunday, September 11. After last year’s 10th Anniversary ride that debuted a route through parts of Maryland and Delaware, we’re staying close to home this year with a ride that focuses on the natural beauty of the Philly region. Friday’s ride will be a hilly 32 miles, Saturday will have options of 60 or 100 miles, and Sunday’s ride will be around 65 miles, with shorter options potentially available on both longer days. Both nights will be spent at the Hotel Warner in West Chester.

Public Lands Ride

The Public Lands Ride will take place at Black Moshannon State Park in Central PA the following weekend on Saturday, September 17. The ride is a mixed surface, non-competitive event that showcases some of Pennsylvania’s stunning public lands. Like in previous years, there will be three route options — 25, 45 and 65 miles — with aid stations spaced about every 15 miles. The routes will be on mostly gravel roads in Moshannon State Forest, with some short sections of grassy snowmobile trails. A group campsite has been reserved for Friday and Saturday nights.
