Schuylkill River Towns Winter Regional Meeting

February 25, 2015 @ 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm

The Schuylkill River Heritage Area is the birthplace of the movements that shaped the nation, fueled its growth, and reclaimed its future. It was along the banks of this river and its tributaries that the American, Industrial, and Environmental Revolutions were born.

River Towns are pivotal gateways for Pennsylvanians to explore and enjoy the Commonwealth’s natural resources and PEC’s Feb. 25 regional meeting and capstone of our Schuylkill River Town program is a time to reflect on this.

Schuylkill River Greenway Association Executive Director Kurt Zwikl will present the stories of the three revolutions that shaped our region and continue to build our future. Join PEC at the Valley Forge National Historic Site Community Room for this free event. The presentation follows immediately after the Schuylkill River Towns regional meeting which is open to the public. For more information, contact Lizzie Hessmiller at [email protected].
