Thanks to all who participated in the 2019 Public Lands Ride. We’re happy to announce that the ride will return on September 26, 2020 — more information coming soon!
The inaugural Public Lands Ride to benefit the Pennsylvania Environmental Council will take cyclists through the woods and waters of Moshannon State Forest, with a home base at Black Moshannon State Park. Two different distance options (26 and 58-mile) offer experiences for a variety of abilities, with the emphasis not on speed but rather enjoying the natural surroundings and company of fellow riders on gravel roads and doubletrack trails. Aid stations staffed by local volunteer groups will be placed every 10-15 miles and will offer refreshments and an opportunity to learn about the area. Coffee & light breakfast will be provided, and there will be a post-ride celebration at Black Moshannon State Park.
Camping will be available onsite on Friday & Saturday nights for an additional $10 fee.
Early Bird Registration (before August 1) — 55 mile: $50, 25 mile: $35
Day of Registration/after August 1 — 55 mile: $60, 25 mile: $45
