Phoenixville Youth Paddle

The Schuylkill River Town Program and Phoenixville Police Athletic League invite kids from Phoenixville ages 8–-15 to kayak the Schuylkill River and Lock 60 Canal. This is a fun, safe, and easy paddle – no experience necessary!
Guide service for these excursions is provided by Take it Outdoors Adventures, led by an ACA certified instructor with first-aid training.
There will be two separate kayak paddle excursions, one in the morning and a second in the afternoon. Each participant may only sign up for one paddle – no exceptions.

This event is free, but space is limited to 15 boats per paddle, so registration is required.
Participants should wear water shoes, sunscreen, and a hat.
All participants must have a release signed by parent or guardian. Participants will be expected to assist in loading and unloading kayaks as needed.
