In partnership with the Friends of the Starrucca Creek and in conjuction with Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful, PEC will conduct an illegal dumpsite cleanup in Susquehanna County. The event will focus on cleaning up illegally dumped trash, tires, and debris throughout Harmony Township located along the Starrucca Creek from the Historical Starrucca Viaduct down to the junction of the Susquehanna River and along the D&H Rail Trail. Volunteers will meet along State Rd 1009 at the end of Lanesboro (heading towards Stevens Point) where the D&H Rail Trail intersects the road.

On the morning of the cleanup, volunteers will gather for registration and instructions. After registration, volunteers will be provided with work gloves, trash bags, and safety vests. When
supplies are distributed and instructions have been provided, volunteers will begin the cleanup. Free lunch and dinner will be provided to all participants. This is a rain or shine event.
