Meaningful Engagement in Local Climate Action Planning

On May 6, 2021 at 6 PM, POWR will host Heidi Kunka, Energy Program Specialist from the PADEP and Daniel Rossi-Keen, the Executive Director of RiverWise for a one hour webinar for PA community watershed organizations on PADEP’s Local Climate Action Program.
During the webinar Ms. Kunka will provide background information about the LCAP and will promote engagement opportunities, such as helping to recruit new municipalities to the program. Mr. Rossi-Keen, who led the recruitment effort in Beaver Co., will share his experiences working with 3 communities in that county including how he found out about the program, why he became engaged, and what he has been doing to support these three communities and the local college students who are also involved.
