Jacobs Creek Headwaters Party

Jacob’s Creek Watershed Association will hold the second annual Headwaters Party on August 11, 4 p.m. at Christner Farms in Dawson.
The event will feature farm tours, music, food and drinks. The Grumbling Gypsy, who’s food truck is often found at Laurel Hill State Park, will be catering a farm-to-table buffet featuring a hog roast from the farm- fresh provisions of Christner Farms.
Hickory Bottom Band, hailing from Western Pennsylvania, will be pickin’ everything from traditional bluegrass to radio hits, and Bloom Brew will be offering tasty, local craft beer along with Kegg Brewing Co. Proceeds from this family-friendly event will be used to develop plans, programs and matching funds for the development of outdoor recreations opportunities in Jacob’s Creek Watershed.
