POSTPONED: 50th Environmental Partnership Dinner
June 3, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
UPDATED 3/18/20: We have been closely monitoring the developments regarding the coronavirus and the recommendations prescribed by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) as well as state and local officials. Out of an abundance of caution and with the health and safety of all attendees in mind, we are rescheduling the 50th Environmental Partnership dinner to November 17, 2020. We urge everyone to familiarize themselves with the guidance issued by the CDC for preventing the spread of the virus (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/index.html). We will keep you informed of any decisions regarding rescheduling. Thank you for your understanding.
2020 is a particularly significant year for us at the Pennsylvania Environmental Council—it is PEC’s 50th Anniversary!
Join us on June 3 to celebrate 50 years of Conservation through Cooperation at PEC’s milestone Environmental Partnership Dinner. Regarded by many as the premier environmental event in Philadelphia, dozens of the region’s leading companies are sponsors and the dinner draws a large and diverse audience comprised of business leaders, lawyers, consultants, environmentalists, academics, and government officials.
The event will commence with a welcome reception and silent auction, followed by the program, and conclude with a “movable feast” of stationed food, open bar, and plenty of networking opportunities.
PEC continues our tradition of paying tribute to those who have demonstrated a commitment to environmental excellence, leadership, and accomplishment in Southeastern Pennsylvania. We will give special recognition to our partners and the work that protects and restores water quality in the Delaware River Basin and activates trails and outdoor recreation—especially along the Delaware and Schuylkill Rivers. We are delighted that Shawn McCaney, Executive Director of the William Penn Foundation, will join us and deliver special remarks.
