2022 Public Lands Ride
September 17, 2022 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
The Pennsylvania Environmental Council Public Lands Ride is a mixed surface, non-competitive cycling event that seeks to showcase Pennsylvania’s public lands. There are two different ways to participate — an in-person group ride at Black Moshannon State Park on September 17, 2022, or explore mapped routes on your own, whenever you want.
Group Ride at Black Moshannon State Park
Join us for a group ride at Black Moshannon State Park on September 17, 2022! There will be three different route options — 25, 45 and 65 mile — with aid stations spaced about every 15 miles. The routes will be on mostly gravel roads in Moshannon State Forest, with some short sections of grassy snowmobile trails.
There will be camping available at the group campsite Friday and Saturday nights, and campsites and cabins are also available to rent via the state park’s reservation system.
