Tony Spagnoli has been working in the nonprofit field for eight years and focuses on addressing urban issues through the use of alternative transportation and design. At PEC, Spagnoli serves as the Program Manager for Greenways and Trails and works to develop the East Coast Greenway in both Bucks and Philadelphia counties. Through many small but complex projects, Spagnoli brings active mobility to hundreds of thousands of residents, and aims to increase economic and community vitality.
Prior to joining PEC, Spagnoli worked for the Boy Scouts of America, where he managed membership, fundraising, and volunteer development as a Senior District Executive. He is skilled in community development, stakeholder engagement, fundraising, graphic design, and grant writing.
A native Pennsylvanian, Spagnoli was born and raised in Athens, Pennsylvania. Tony graduated from Mansfield University with a B.A. in communications in 2005 and earned a Masters of Urban Planning from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2012. He has lived in Los Angeles and Milwaukee before happily arriving in Philadelphia with his wife, Sarah, and two children. Spagnoli is an avid home cook, cyclist, and urban enthusiast.
