Montgomery County Commissioners Joe Gale, left, Val Arkoosh and Ken Lawrence Jr. accept a $2,337.80 check from the Pennsylvania Environmental Council to begin a fund for trailhead signage on the Schuylkill River Trail. PEC previously funded the design, materials, fabrication and installation of new trailhead signs and structures in Norristown and Conshohocken with grant funding through its Schuylkill River Town Program. The commissioners are seated at one of the signs, which were designed and custom built by Montgomery County Public Property staff.
