Natural Gas Royalty Payments: Are Landowners Receiving Their Due Share?

The Shale Gas Governance Center (SGGC) will host Justin Weber from Pepper Hamilton and Kevin Abbot of Reed Smith October 11. During this event, Mr. Weber and Mr. Hamilton will discuss legal issues surrounding royalty payments to owners of oil and gas rights, including pending cases and proposed legislation to strengthen landowner protections.
The SGGC was established for the purpose of promoting research, teaching, and outreach on governance issues related to natural gas extraction from shale gas formations.
