Illumination Celebration

The Oil City Main Street Program will work with project partners to host an Illumination Celebration, a celebration of the illumination of Center Street Bridge. The event will feature dancing, music, activities for children, and free glow necklaces for attendees.

At dusk, luminaries will float down Oil Creek, the recently designated Pennsylvania water trail, followed by the illumination of Center Street Bridge, showcasing various capabilities of the light system.

Location: Center Street between Route 8 and Seneca Street in Downtown Oil City, Pennsylvania. (This section of Center Street will be blocked off to traffic).
