Evening for Northeast Pennsylvania’s Environment

The Northeast Environmental Partners (Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance, Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), the Pennsylvania Environmental Council’s (PEC) Northeast Office, PPL Corporation, Procter & Gamble Paper Products Company, and Wilkes University) are pleased to announce that the “25th Annual Evening for Northeast Pennsylvania’s Environment” has been scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015. It will be held at the Woodlands Inn and Resort, Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Click here for more information on how to register.
The event will present Environmental Partnership Awards to:
- Bethlehem Authority & the Nature Conservancy (Carbon & Monroe Counties)
- Angela M. Colarusso (Wyoming County)
- Friends of Starrucca Creek (Susquehanna County)
- Sue Nasrani (Luzerne County)
- Paupack Waves InvenTeam (Pike County)
- Corey Richmond (Sullivan County)
Additionally, the Emerging Leader Award will be presented to David Madl III for demonstrating leadership, initiation, and dedication to protecting and promoting a healthy environment. The 21st annual Thomas P. Shelburne Environmental Leadership Award will be presented to Charles J. Charlesworth for his dedication and commitment to improving the health and quality of the Lackawanna River and its watershed.
