In addition to informative presentations, interactive discussions, and visits to nearby sites that highlight different conservation issues and approaches, this year’s Forum will also include workshops for a more practical and in-depth exploration of key topics.

PEC Executive Vice President Patrick Starr will be presenting in two sessions. In the first day, he will review challenges of the Lower Delaware River region focusing on lessons learned from the Upstream Suburban Philadelphia Cluster work as part of the Delaware River Watershed Initiative. On the second day Starr will speak on connecting the public to water resources via trails in a session focusing on environmental education centers.

Additionally, PEC Program Manager for Trails & Recreation Lizzie Hessek will join present on the Schuylkill River Towns program, as part of a session on equity in accessing natural resources and recreation opportunities along the river.

Registration is required and space is limited, so register today to participate in this year’s event.
